Car Donation Program

Dear Car Donor:

Thank you for accessing our website to seek information regarding the
donation of your vehicle to The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation
Center.

Donations of cars, trucks, campers or boats can help put the brakes on
drug addiction in the metro area. Your donation is tax-deductible and the
towing of your vehicle is free! The proceeds from your donation will help
support the oldest and largest drug and alcohol rehabilitation program in
the area. Our program receives no government or United Way funding, but
for almost 70 years has relied solely on the public's donations. The
Salvation Army needs your help… and what better time than now to donate
your used car, camper or boat and receive a tax-deduction. It's that easy to
become a part of The Salvation Army "Miracle".

Online you will find a Request for Car Donor Information Packet form. You
may receive this packet via e-mail (in PDF form) or via the U.S. mail. After
receiving this packet, if you decide to donate, just fill in the highlighted
areas, sign and mail these forms to:

Also, please return your signed clear title along with your forms. Also, if
there was a lien on the vehicle that was released July 1, 2003 or later,
please attach the lien release letter from the leinholder.

After we have received your signed forms and clear title, we will forward an
acknowledgement that we have your title.

Towing is free to most Metro Area residents. We will provide you with the
towing company information so that you may make arrangements for pick
up of your vehicle. Make sure that the unlocked vehicle has the license
plates removed, the keys inside, and is in an easily accessible spot to allow
towing pick up.
